We have had some problems with the  membership dues payroll deductions not being witheld from the members paycheck.
It is ultimately your responsibility to ensure that these
deduction are being taken out. You will not be able to vote in the upcoming June election, if your name does not appear on the ATU membership listing supplied to us
If you are unsure where to look on your paystub, see one of the Executive Board.

At the June election meeting ALL NOMINEES will be given a chance to speak of their
QUALIFICATIONS, ACCOMPLISHMENTS
and
IDEAS on how to improve OUR Union






Thanks to the efforts of VP Tony Gonzalesz and Gary Ruan from ATU International, the seven Local 1701 members , placed on unpaid leave, have been reinstated, with back pay and all senority rights restored.
They will be back to work on Saturday or Monday as scheduled.
This is just another reason why membership in the ATU is so very important to all SCAT divers.
If you talk to a new hire, or someone who is not  yet a member of Local 1701, remember to relate this to them, and,
